Central air conditioning systems are crucial facilities in smart manufacturing interconnected factories, providing a comfortable and healthy working environment while ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, materials, and other production elements within the factory.

In traditional central air conditioning management modes, personnel are required to be on duty for monitoring, adjusting the set outlet water temperature of the units based on weather conditions or load demands, with no corresponding energy-saving measures in place.

 Additionally, faults are passively responded to, leading to significant risk (potential hazards). By integrating with the Wutongbolian Industrial Smart Gateway and Industrial IoT Cloud Platform, real-time collection of equipment parameters from air conditioning units can be achieved, enabling real-time monitoring of unit operational status, real-time alerts for warnings and faults, and displaying current energy consumption to facilitate energy-saving optimizations.

Implemented Functions

  1. Continuous monitoring of parameters such as inlet and outlet water pressure, inlet and outlet water temperature, power, voltage, current, and electricity consumption, with centralized visualization on the Industrial IoT Cloud Platform.

  2. Remote monitoring of air conditioning unit states, including on/off status, operational modes, and set temperatures, via mobile phones or computers. Remote control of each unit's on/off status, mode adjustments, temperature settings, and fan speed is also possible to ensure normal operation of the air conditioning system.

  3. Automatic notifications via WeChat, SMS, email, or other means upon detection of abnormal data, forming a safe and controllable operation and maintenance mode.

     This facilitates the rational arrangement of operation and maintenance resources, avoiding overall cost increases due to scattered, piecemeal repairs.
  4. Utilization of energy consumption data reports and curve charts collected from electricity meters to analyze, diagnose, and address abnormal energy consumption issues, enabling targeted measures for energy-saving control and process improvements.
